• I have MC4WP installed on my WP blog (not hosted on www.ads-software.com), with two working sign-up forms. All is well with those.
However, my STATS show hundreds of additional form submissions daily, identified as “custom”. About 10% get through to MailChimp and show up as new subscribers. I can tell they aren’t from my actual forms because they don’t have the tags that are assigned when a real form is submitted. They also have spammy names.

How are they accessing a MC4WP submission?

And what can I do to stop them?

Are you using the custom integration at all?
If not, you could turn off this integration method under MC4WP > Integrations.

If you are using it, can you share a link to where you use it so i can have a look at that form?

    Thanks!

I do have Custom the custom integration “Active” – but I’m not using it.

I don’t see any way to turn it off.

    Hey @mariegale,

Can you please share a link to the 2 forms on your website?

It’s in a popup on mariegale.com (you should see it if you go to any page other than the home page.

Note that I deactivated signup with comment form, and that seems to have handled the issue.

    Hey @mariegale,

I noticed you are using our premium version. In this case, please contact us directly using the email at https://www.mc4wp.com/contact/. www.ads-software.com does not allow support of premium products on this platform.

That said, I tested the form in the pop-up using my personal email “me @harish…..com”. Can you please check if this email is on your list as “custom” or something else?
