Stats show clicks to Photon despite being disabled!

What’s this about? In my WP statistics I see today hits to Photon Media – despite the fact that I have Photon disabled?!?!
I don’t like the mess Photon creates with my images and I don’t want it – it’s turned OFF for a reason…Can somebody explain this to me?
