    Since the customer’s status is changed twice after ordering and payment,
    There was a bug where the same email was sent twice to administrators and customers.
    When I looked into it, it seems like it’s a bug that has been around for several years and hasn’t been fixed.

    Although it is a genuine WooCommerce plugin, what is it like?

    When I changed to this plugin, it was easy to set up, looked great, and solved the problem right away.

    I’m sorry that WooCommerce Stripe didn’t work for you, especially since that’s our official extension. We haven’t seen a ton of reports of this happening to everyone, but it’s still concerning that you were seeing duplicate notification emails. If you ever decide to go back, we’d love to work with you to troubleshoot the issue.

    It now also removed two items from inventory on email duplication.

    That issue should hopefully be fixed once 8.6.0 is released later today. If you still see the same behavior after upgrading to 8.6.0, let us know in the issue. ??

    Hi @tcmorita, @kody8vcj8391c, and @hans410947. This is to confirm that this issue has been fixed and released in Stripe version 8.6.1. We have gotten confirmation from some merchants that the new version worked for them and I hope it works for you too.

    Furthermore, if updating to this version helps resolve the problem, would you mind changing your rating from a 1-star to a 5-star as leaving at that affects our overall rating? I appreciate your patience while we worked on this issue.
