    When I try to “Add Payment Method” from My Account I am receiving this error:
    Status code 81724: Duplicate card exists in the vault.

    There should be duplicate cards aloud as customers may share the same card.

    The error that you are receiving – Duplicate card exists in the vault – is not an error that the Braintree extension itself throws as this is being returned by the Braintree API. This means that Braintree thinks the card already exists in the vault, and there is a setting in Braintree that is disallowing duplicates.

    Can you please get in touch with Braintree Support at [email protected] on this? You should also enable debug logging in the gateway’s settings and replicate the issue again so you have a Request/Response pair to send to the support team if needed. A screenshot of where that is found is here.
