Status: Fixed Widget and WordPress 5.8

    WordPress 5.8 (July 2021) will include a block-based widget editor. At this moment, widgets created before the update will include the Fixed Widget option, while new blocks won’t.

    It is possible that this will be fixed by the WordPress core team since Fixed Widget is not the only plugin impacted by this. If not, we will look into providing the solution eventually.

    Btw., you can use the Classic Widgets plugin to use the widget editor in the version of WP 5.7
