    Hi,
When sending a newsletter, I see no errors and the status shows sent. However, they are not actually being sent.

I am sending using my web host and when I send a test email through mailpoet I can receive that. I also tried sending a newsletter with only me as the recipient in case it was due to the limit of my web host, however, that still didn’t work.

Under system status, I am not seeing any errors, and the task scheduler is also working fine.

    My web host is WPEngine.

    Thanks

    Hi there @dvapps,

    Thanks for reaching out!

First I’d like to note that we don’t recommend using your web host as your sending method. We have a dedicated page explaining the reasons in detail:

    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/154-why-you-shouldnt-send-with-your-host

That said, if you’d like to keep sending with your host, the fact that sending newsletters with MailPoet Sending Service works but with your host does not indicates that something in your server configuration might be wrong. I’d recommend reaching out to your host support for a more in-depth investigation.

    Hi,
I think you misunderstood what I said.

The test email with the host as the sender selected works fine, however when sending a newsletter, it doesn’t work.

    Thanks

Indeed, I had misunderstood you. I’m sorry about that.

Can you please copy and paste the details found in MailPoet > Help > System Info.

Make sure to remove any sensitive information such as the sender email address before sending it.

    Hi, any update on this?

    Hi @dvapps,

Can you please let us know if you can send the newsletter preview to yourself as well?

Also, when you say the newsletter is not being sent, does it mean it’s stuck in the “Paused” status? Or is it showing as “Sent” but you didn’t receive anything?

    Thread Starter Divanshu

    (@dvapps)

    Hi,
Yes, the preview email to myself works fine. However, if I set up a test list with me as the subscriber, the status shows sent, but I don’t receive anything. The same thing happens with anyone else on the list.

The status shows as sent to all subscribers, but nothing is actually received.

    Thanks

Thanks for sharing more details about this issue, @dvapps.

As I understand, this is a deliverability issue then, as the emails are sent but not delivered properly.

If you’re sending emails with your own sending method, could you please check if you have correctly set up DKIM and SPF records for your sender’s domain?

You can run a spam score test if you want more information about your deliverability.

Thanks, figured out the issue was old MX records on the domain as well as a missing DMARC record.
