Stay Theme differences between .com and .org

I am making the transition from a wordpress.com (hosted) site to a www.ads-software.com (self hosted site), I am totally new to this, and really have no idea what I am doing so I am learning on the go (which is fun if time consuming).

I would like to stay with the theme I had on the original site as it was a new site and I don’t want my organizations supporters to be confused but yet another new site in the same month.

We are using the Stay theme by Automattic, but there are differences in how it functions from hosted to self hosted that I am trying to change. The big one at the moment is that in hosted format there was a “Full width format” page layout template, this is not an option in the self hosted version.

Is there a way to turn this template back on/add it in/use a plug in to have the option od full width page layout…?
