Staying logged in

  • I having trouble in that each time I try to say go to plug ins or post a new post or anything on the back end it will firstly take me to the log in page before I can do anything. I am not sure why this has started happening because it only just recently started to happen. Please help it is getting annoying

  • How’s your hosting service? Are you using Shared Hosting or a Dedicated Server? If Shared, I have sometimes experienced that slow Hosting can cause these sorts of problems.

    I am with Hostgator. So maybe it is something to do with them then and not wordpress.

    I now relised that this was to do with my cookies and the privacy settings and I had to go in and allow my wordpress to be remembered.

    I’m not sure I’d jump the gun on it yet, but often if people say “Go Daddy” then I just say “Yup, that’s the problem.” Hostgator might not be the problem … have you experienced slow downs or has anyone mentioned it?
