Step 3: Entering WordPress URL into the Forum Owner Area

  • Hey guys, I’m trying to add my wordpress site to the tapatalk network, and I’m very excited about it.

    I’m getting hung up on step 3 of the basic installation instructions where it asks you to enter the top level wordpress URL into the Tapatalk Forum Owner Area.

    The only place I can find to enter the Worpress URL is in the Build Your Own App Section. Is this where the URL should be entered? Can you guys possibly include a screenshot of that step?

    Figured it out. WordPress functionality is an extension of the forum plugin. In other words, your WP site is associated with your forum. You can’t have wp functionality without plugging into your forum first.

    Once you plug into your forum (standard model, not BYO), there’s a field for wordpress URL which depends on steps 1 and 2 in the included instructions to function. Hope that helps anyone who has similar problems in the future.
