    Hi there,

    Is there any manual of how to compile a source code of Store front into working theme.

    I have done it with gulp-sass and all the *.scss files work mint, yet the js don’t. SO is there a separate procedure (e.g. gulp) to compile js?

    Best,
    Bartek

    Hi @bkorzeniowski,

    I’m not entirely sure of what you mean by compiling the source code into a working theme. Could you share a few more details about what you are trying to accomplish with the original theme files?

    Hey @bkorzeniowski – for Storefront, most of our developers use https://gruntjs.com/ to compile files, but others use CodeKit.

    Hi there,

    I’m using now Atom with Grunt. What are the pros and cons of this setup vis CodeKit? Any comments on that?

    Hi @bkorzeniowski – this is getting a bit far off of the Storefront forum, so last comment on this (and best to move it elsewhere otherwise);

    CodeKit is a bit easier to configure and has a visual interface, which Grund doesn’t have. Some people prefer that.

    I’ll mark this thread as resolved now though.
