Steps How to Install WP With Database on Separate Host??

  • I am a teacher. I just got asked to create a school website and I use WordPress (have 3 sites already).

    I was told our school server does not support databases, but other schools have gotten wordpress to work because they upload all the WP files to the school host and keep their database on a personal host.

    Is this something easy to do? Does anyone have a link a guide I can follow?

    I currently have been working on the site on a subdomain of my own website. I wanted to migrate the site once I get FTP access. I am debating whether to do a fresh WP install and manually copy everything, or attempt to change the URLs and migrate the site.
