    HI,

The “Stick this post to the front page” option doesn’t put any post on my front page.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

  • Change to the WordPress Default Theme. Do you see that sticky as the ‘first’ post? If you don’t see the sticky, then you might have a plugin causing that problem. If you do see the sticky with the WordPress Default Theme, then your theme may be designed to ignore the sticky.

When I view the page in both the default theme and the theme that was created for me the posts show up.

When I acivate each theme the posts do not show.

So you see the sticky post when using the WordPress Default theme?

Please provide link to see the problem with information on which post is the sticky post.

    NSFW

    ***WARNING – ADULT CONTENT***

    The blog link is https://www.sexynudemuscle.com

The posts links wich are not posting on the main page are:

    https://www.sexynudemuscle.com/?p=327
    https://www.sexynudemuscle.com/?p=270

I have content on the main page but hey are not posts. They are hard coded links, images and text.

Just to summarize. When I’m in the Themes area and click on default I can see the posts. When I activate the default, the posts are not there.

    Thanks!

So I guess you are using the static front page ability of WordPree then?

When I have Settings->Reading set to show a static front page, when I visit the page designated there for blog posts I do see the sticky posts before the other posts.

Which page do you have designated for Posts page in Administration > Settings > Reading?

Which page do you have designated for Posts page in Administration > Settings > Reading, as that will be where the stickies appear.

    AAAAAHHHH!

I must have set that to static when I first started the blog.

It’s all good now! Thanks a bunch.
