    Hi,

    I’ve just installed the plugin and I’m not getting the “Sticky Header” option in the “Advanced” section as stated. Can you please help? I have Elementor Pro.

    Thank you,
    Maz

    Hi!

    Are you using sections or containers?

    Hi Robert,

    Containers.

    i just tried the plugin on a clean install with containers anabled and it’s working for me. Just to be clear, you’re looking at the advanced tab of the container right, not the page settings? Have you tried a section?

    Unfortunately, the rules of this forum limit my ability to help. You can email me [email protected] and I can help you better.

    @rwattner That sure sounds like you’re asking to login to this user’s site.

    I am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

    It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

    There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    • Ask for a link to the https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com log of the user’s web server error log.
    • Ask the user to create and post a link to their phpinfo(); output.
    • Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
    • Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
    • Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
    • Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.

    You get the idea.

    Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

    @maziarom can you follow any of the examples given by the moderator? I’d like the solution to be here and available for others to see anyway.

    Thanks, and thank you @sterndata for the troubleshooting recommendations. I’ll keep a copy of that for reference.

    @rwattner I tried disabling the flexbox setting and tried it with a section instead and it shows up. But when I enable the flexbox setting it doesn’t show up in the advanced tab of any containers.

    Ok, I tried again on a different clean install and I’m having the same problem. This is fixed on the pro version beta already. I’ll copy the fix over and push an update.

    Thank you @rwattner I’ll be eagerly awaiting the update.

    For me it doesn’t work for containers but it does work for sections even they are on the same page.

    I have the latest version 1.55 of the plugin.

    It would be perfect if you can make it work with containers.

    Would you be willing to help with beta testing? That would really help me get an update out. I have a new version ready, it just needs testing. Please let me know and we can make further arrangements. Email me if you are interested, thanks.

    I’ve just updated the plugin with a fix for this. I hope it helps you.

    @maziarom

    Tank you for your input!

    @rwattner
    Hi, I am facing this issue as well now. Is this fix only available on the pro version or both?

    Same problem with containers in Elementor (Version 3.17.2) & Elementor Pro (Version 3.4.1) @ November 7, 2023. What’s up Elementor devs?
