I am having problems getting a development page to work like the current page https://divorcetoolbox.com/about/media-reviews which is a Joomla website I am migrating to WordPress.

For some reason when I load the page on the ‘online’ development page, it initiates as a sticky, but if I scroll just a touch, it goes back to the non-sticky setting. Then if I scroll some more, it returns to the sticky setting which is fine.

So two issues. How to keep it from loading the page in sticky class and how to display so the initial video is shown center top below the header / banner and when scrolled will display on the right at 40% width.

I’ve worked on this two days and exhausted my knowledge with Elementor.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out. It seems like you are facing issues with the sticky behavior and layout of a page you are migrating from Joomla to WordPress using Elementor. Troubleshooting such issues often involves checking the CSS, JavaScript, and layout settings. Here are some steps you can take to address the problems:

    1. Disable Initial Sticky Behavior:
      • Check the CSS and JavaScript of the page for any code related to the sticky behavior.
      • Look for classes like position: sticky; or any JavaScript code that sets the element as sticky on page load.
      • Adjust or remove this code to prevent the initial sticky behavior.
    2. Inspect Elements:
      • Use your browser’s developer tools (right-click on the page, select “Inspect” or “Inspect Element”) to inspect the elements and their styles.
      • Look for any inline styles or styles applied by external CSS that might affect the sticky behavior and positioning of the video.
    3. WordPress Theme Compatibility:
      • Ensure that the WordPress theme you are using is compatible with Elementor and does not have any conflicting styles or scripts.
    4. Cache and Browser Issues:
      • Clear your browser cache to ensure you are viewing the most recent changes.
      • Try accessing the page in an incognito/private browsing window to rule out any cached or cookie-related issues.
    5. Elementor Support: If you’re an Elementor Pro user, kindly refer to our dedicated Pro support here: (https://elementor.com/help/how-to-submit-a-support-ticket/).

Without direct access to your site and its code, it’s challenging to provide specific solutions. If you encounter specific code snippets or errors, feel free to share them for more targeted assistance.

    Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.

    Hope your day goes well!

    Cheers,
