    My website: https://posturacorreta.com

The title of this thread is self-explanatory:
I′ve marked a post as sticky (This one: Agrotóxicos: o que s?o e 6 dicas para você se proteger!) but then i′ve posted another one (this: Desafio suco verde de 17 semanas. é para você?), not marked as sticky.
The sticky one went down the page and the new post is in the place for the featured one.

    Here are my theme options:
    – Featured Category: Choose one (in other words: not setted)
    – Featured Post Count: 1

Thank you Alex for the awesome free Theme!

I′ve tried. But then things get really worse!

Now it is setted to two, but take a look at the site: the featured post is in the slider (that doesn′t toggle by itself), so if the user doesn′t toggle the slider, he will never see the featured post (supposed to be the first to be seen…).

The problem is: the post that should be “featured” is not “featured” in any way…

    edit your featured.php
find slideshow: false to slideshow: true
now your featured will slide automatically
make sure you already use a child theme

oh sorry i think i dont really read your question carefully, just ignore my post about slide,
what you have to do is simple, on the featured catagory you have to set it to “sticky” dont left it with “choose one”
and set the post count back to 1

Thanks PratamaDA, but i don′t have such option (“Sticky”) under “featured category” droplist.
That is just a list of my blogs categories…
Is there anything else I could do?

create a new category ex. “featured”
then mark one of your post with that category
and set your theme option :
    – Featured Category: Featured
    – Featured Post Count: 1

That′s right! It works. Thank you very much!
