• Is there an option to query posts by sticky status? Something like hide posts that are set to sticky or show only posts that are set to sticky.

    Thank you for any help.

  • Hi ckubs,

    Thanks for reaching us,

With the current version of the Magazine Blocks plugin, it doesnot provide the option to set the post sticky. However we can discuss and add the option with the future release of the plugin version.

For any other issues or confusion please let us know here and I will get back to you.

I want to achieve a layout where I’ll have a breaking news section on top with all the new and important posts from multiple categories and then every category displayed with the most recent 3 posts minus the ones appearing on breaking news. To avoid double display.

A solution could be this one, to filter them by the sticky status: display only sticky, exclude sticky. Or I could achieve that by putting a tag named breaking news to some of the posts. But, I see only the option, then, to exclude posts only by category and not also by tag.

One of this options would make it a complete blocks plugin. I hope one of them will find it’s way in an update to use Magazine Blocks in my project. Thank you.

    Hi @ckubs,

    Thanks for reaching back,??

As per the current version of the Magazine Blocks plugin, we do not have this feature. However, we will surely think about it, and maybe we will introduce this in the future release of the plugin. We will make sure to let you know once the feature is out there.??

Please submit your request for a new feature using the provided link: https://magazineblocks.productlift.dev/

Let me know if you have any other questions, and I will get back to you.?

    Regards!

The new update 1.3.9 break my site… I had to restore my site back a day to get it working again, before the update. I’m using the latest version of WordPress and all my other plugins are also updated, but every time when I update Magazine Blocks to 1.3.9 my site crashes with a “fatal error”
