• Hello,

there is some issue with sticky posts being non sticky. Once we are unchecking the sticky, it still remains sticky and on query for pulling all sticky posts, I can find all these post old posts.

    if you see down https://www.ibm.com/blogs/business-partners/sample-page/
the list of posts are removed from being sticky. I unchecked all of them. but still they appear as sticky. Is there any reason for it ? How can I query the proper data ?

thanks in advance. It is very much urgent issue.

I’ve no idea what posts were sticky, but the list I see has posts in reverse chronological order. A sticky post typically would have older dates, so I don’t think I am seeing any sticky posts.

My best guess is you are viewing cached data. If your site has a caching plugin, its cache may need to be cleared in order to see updated data. If your host has implemented caching, there should be a way to clear it from your hosting panel. Finally, your browser could be caching stale data. Try clearing your browser cache and then reloading the page.

I’m not sure what you mean when you say you queried for all sticky posts. There is no query argument for stickiness. Which posts are sticky is stored as an option value containing a list of post IDs.

BTW, this is not a Developing WordPress topic, I’m moving your topic to Fixing WordPress forum. No worries about posting in the wrong forum, we know the criteria is not clear to everyone.
