Sticky sidebar covers content

Hello, with the 12 May 2021 update to the Newsium theme free version (1.1.5), the behavior of the frontpage sidebar changed. I have a static frontpage with a sticky sidebar (main sidebar comprising 2 text widgets), and with the previous version of the theme, the main content area and sidebar peacefully lived side-by-side. When I updated the theme today, without any other changes to my configuration, the sidebar now plops right on top of the main content window aligned to the left.

I can fix it if I turn off “Make Frontpage Sidebar Sticky” in the Frontpage layout settings, but now the sidebar content falls to the bottom. This makes it so the site doesn’t look broken, but I prefer the content to be visible on the right side. The problem only happens with the standard desktop viewport. For the narrow and mobile viewports, the sidebar drops to the bottom like it normally should.
