Sticky Sidebar does not work with WP 5.6

  • Testing out latest WordPress 5.6.

    Sticky Sidebar stopped working.

    Works well on my site for version under 5.6.

    Any ideas how to fix? Love the plugin.

  • The plugin hasn’t been fully updated yet to support the JQuery transition to the newest version, that has been included in WP 5.6; as such the only way to make this plugin work is to use the older version of JQuery on WP 5.6, while waiting for the developers to update this plugin.
    There is an easy way to do this, although, it’s not a fix.
    You can install this plugin to make your site support the older version of JQuery and wait in anticipation, hoping for the plugin developer to remove deprecated code from the plugin.
