“sticky” solutions

  • It should be possible to repeat an exercise even after 100% completion which will cause the “Retry” Button not to show.
    Normally this should be possible by refreshing the browser. However, with the “drag the words” type exercise this is not always possible.
    I am using H5P in an environment where users can register, log in and log out with Easy Registration Forms. They are then awarded points for largely correctly completed exercises by GamiPress with H5P integration plugin.
    In the case of “drag the words”, solutions arrived at will disappear when you log log out but reappear when you log in again. This will happen even after closing down the browser. So one would suspect that the problem is related to cookies. However, I cannot find any relevant cookies: None from H5P, those from GamiPress are older than the exercise in question, and deleting those set by the website itself will only cancel the logged-in status – after logging in again, the solution is shown again.

    Hi,
    This may happen if you have enabled “Save content state” in the H5P settings. You could try to disable this one to see if you get your desired behaviour then.

    Great, thank you! That does the trick! I was not aware what this settings option is doing.
