Sticky TOC Device Target does not work with page-cache

  • WP 6.6.1 + Easy TOC: 2.0.68.1

    The responsive setting of sticky TOC Device Target = “Desktop” is very useful for small phones. (No content hidden below Sticky TOC tab.)

    But the feature does not work dynamic with an active page cache.

    I have tried it with “WP Super Cache” and the page-cache of “WP-Optimize”.

    Every time with the same result: The first page view (Desktop or Mobile) defines the cached and also – afterwards constantly – shown result, with or without sticky TOC. No dynamic adjustment to screen-size after cache is filled.

    Sorry for the delay, but now I have everything arranged and collected what you wanted:

    Sticky TOC enabled + Device Target: Desktop

    2 Demo-videos (also on the same site, on page “Videos” – downloadable)

    In both cases, as originally stated, the visibility of “Sticky TOC” depends on the screen resolution after first filling of the (before deleted) cache.

    Video 1: Start with resolution 480 or higher, and the Sticky Toc is also visible on super small screens.

    Video 2: Start with resolution 375 or lower, and the Sticky Toc is also in visible on large screens.

    Attention: The Example above is provided with a temporary test site, which lasts only for 7 days from now!
