    Hello!

Starting with the installation of version 2.0.54, the plugin displays the ‘Sticky Toggle’ on absolutely all pages whose content includes subtitles. This does not happen on posts, where it only appears if I activate the table of contents on a specific post. How can this be resolved?

I have rolled back to version 2.0.53 to avoid this behavior on the pages of my site. The normal thing is that it only shows the Sticky Toggle if I activate the table of contents on a specific page.

My site is https://letralia.com. I have left a screenshot at https://imgur.com/FIgK9Ob

PS: I do not have the “Auto Insert” option enabled.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. Could you please share a brief video demonstrating how you add the Table of Contents (TOC)? This would greatly assist us in understanding the issue more clearly.

Hi, you can see it here:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WPdwJBAp1v16RN-6SBgCM5K8EskK6RY1/view?usp=drive_link

Note how the Sticky Toggle appears on pages where I have not indicated that it should appear (the video includes sample plugin configuration).

    Thanks in advance.

Today I discovered that the Sticky Toggle also appears in posts when there are subtitles (H3, H4). Apparently, since version 2.0.54 the Sticky Toggle is activated by default even without the user setting it that way.

I should note that in the affected posts and pages the table of contents is not displayed unless I activate it (which is the desired behavior). Only the Sticky Toggle is shown.

Please let me know if you understood the problem. At this point I can only go back to version 2.0.53 and hope that you will fix the problem later.

    Hello!

Sorry for the delay in replying.

The problem persists. I use your plugin on two of my websites, letralia.com and correcciondetextos.org.

On letralia.com I simply deactivated the Sticky Toggle. But not on correcciondetextos.org, where the Sticky Toggle still appears even on pages and posts where the table of contents is not activated. For example, you can see the Sticky Toggle activated on the front page or on any post that includes subtitles. Examples:

    correcciondetextos.org/precio
    correcciondetextos.org/necesitas-un-corrector/
    correcciondetextos.org/prefijos

I continue to use your excellent plugin and hope that at some point you can resolve this issue.

    Thank you!

Hi there, Could you please share the exported TOC panel settings with us? This will help us investigate further.

Hi, thank you for sharing this. We checked by importing the same settings and found that you did not enable the Sticky Toc option. Please refer to this screenshot for a better understanding: https://paste.pics/PQ3NM . To disable Sticky TOC, go to the Easy Toc settings << click on Sticky TOC and uncheck that option. In case you want to add a sticky toggle on a specific post/page then you can use the same option. Once you’ve configured the settings, please clear all caches. Try this and let us know if the issue persists.

    Hi,

Thank you very much for reviewing the information. However, the screenshot you show me corresponds to the configuration of your plugin on my website letralia.com. On my other website, correcciondetextos.org, it is activated. Please, check the configuration I sent in the file called correcciondetextos_org.json that I included in the file sent two days ago.

The problem, as I explained in a previous post, is that when I enable the Sticky TOC option, the Sticky TOC appears on any page or post with subtitles (H3, H4), even those where I have opted not to use the table of contents. For example, on the front page of correcciondetextos.org the Sticky TOC appears.

This situation started with version 2.0.54. With version 2.0.53, the Sticky TOC appeared *only* on entries or pages where I chose to activate the table of contents.

    Thanks!

    Hello:

I updated the plugin. Already the Sticky TOC is not displayed on the front page of my website (which is fine), but it presents unwanted behaviors (even a new unwanted behavior):

    1) The Sticky TOC still shows up in any post if there are subheadings (H3, H4) in it, even in posts where I am NOT using table of contents. The desirable thing, as I said before, is that it only appears on entries where I choose to use the table of contents. This is how it worked until version 2.0.53 (please read my previous posts).

    2) The Sticky TOC appears in the table of contents of any category whose first entry has subtitles (H3, H4). And the items it displays are those of that first entry. I find this behavior extremely strange and it has not happened before.

Here you can see the configuration of the Sticky TOC with which I did the tests in my website: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CgiXIhMSrz5-LO1C_SU_PH_hI4BV5Zpq/view?usp=sharing

Here you can see how the Sticky TOC appears on a category page, showing the items of the first entry: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jC0qtRk5ZNlyxpOb0Y_s3sUtOSDerwlx/view?usp=sharing

I have disabled the Sticky TOC again. I hope this information will be useful to solve these problems.

    Sincerely,

    Jorge.
