Still a good and lean theme

  • I came back to Alexander’s theme after he sold his popular Hueman theme. The new author of Hueman expanded and expanded functions – until the theme code had tripled in size. Kontrast goes back to the roots: a lovely magazine style theme without the bloat.
    I would have have given full 5 stars if support would be more consistent. Some weeks Alexander is quick to answer every question – some weeks (in a row) he’s simply offline for support. Bad luck if you have an issue in such a period…

    Sorry that I’m not always responding quickly to support – I have 29 free themes to monitor the support forums of. I will try to go through all the forums more often in the future, so that it doesn’t take weeks between answers (which I agree is unacceptable).

    @alxmedia Most of the time it is not a major problem, but then for the last 2 years I am rather sporadic with getting to do work on my website. (We were among the Australians left stranded overseas by our government during the C-19 pandemic – so we had [and still have] other issues to deal with. The entire saga really interrupted our lives big time.) This in turn means that some of your input came so late that I still haven’t implemented your suggested changes, simply because by the time the answer arrived I had had forgotten the steps that had led to the question… (Catch 22)
