Still a nightmare of design + usability

I am wondering how the programmers after years still do think their evolution is going to make sense. The technologic idea may be a big Bang. But after years it is still not usable and I tried again and again with painful attemps to do daily work. There are Block solutions lightyears backwards for usability, the basic design and icon system is unbelievable bad and not user friendly.
