Still able to visit profile by sidebar widget

In my sidebar I use the Buddypress widget where you can see the newest or active members. When my profile is not completed I’m still able to visit there profile and see there information. Something I don’t want.
The send a message option is not available, when you click on it you return to the account page to fill in the profile but I’m also using the Buddypress send compliment plugin which is still available to use, even if the profile is not filled in yet.
Is there anyway to prevent going to other users profile without an completed profile?

Make sure you have these turned on…at least one of them:
Must fill all required fields
Must have profile photo
Must have profile cover
User will need to fill all the selected criteria for profile completion.I’m using a very fancy theme, with 80+ plugins and have no issues with BuddyDev plugins (excluding one, Restrict Usernames Emails Characters, which I ditched, too buggy for my liking).
Other than that, it might be Buddypress custom code for user url, or maybe some code you inserted somewhere like the functions.php file that is conflicting…or a setting on another plugin conflicting.
Looks like you got some work to do if that’s what you really are shooting for, and BuddyDev can’t help (because your website is unique).
