• I had a problem with the emails not going back to their original state once this plugin was deactivated. I thought it was because of this plugin but it seems the issue is elsewhere.

I edited this post where I was venting as I don’t want the author of this plugin to get bad publicity for nothing ??

  • Perhaps think about this. If you remove the plugin then no code can be run and therefore it can’t effect your site. I’d look elsewhere for the cause of your problems and vent your frustration on their forums. This plugin works for some but not others.. sorry about that but it’s a limitation that the way welcome emails are sent from WP.

Good luck for the future.. i’m sure you’ll find an alternative

Hi Sean, I’m sorry, didn’t want to come off as an ungrateful user, I’m sure you’ve put a lot of work into making this a quality plugin and you’re doing it for free, but I’ve became crazy trying to solve this issue the last days and thought it somehow had messed with our database or core files.

I’m not very good at coding so our talented developer is currently trying to pinpoint the problem, and she might have found the source, it might be the SMTP plugin we had on our site. We’re currently re-installing it to remove all its options. Your plugin actually worked well when I started using it, and after all it might not be your plugin at the source of the issue. I’m not sure I can edit my first message but hopefully users who encounter the same issue will read this. I’ll change my rating accordingly, it’s the least I can do ??

Mmm, tried to change my rating to 4 stars but somehow it doesn’t work, so please don’t take the rating into consideration.
