Still allow to browse site?

Hi,

I like this plugin but I would like to customise it so that the popup sits vertically along the right-hand side (still absolutely positioned) and you can still browse the site as normal without having to click the agree button. So something along the lines of ford.co.uk/Cars/TourneoCustom where accepting cookies is optional and you can still scroll the page and click on links regardless.
I am sort of half way there in the sense that I changed cookiewarning.css to resize the popup, align it with the bottom right corner and remove the black background which was covering the rest of the page. Now I can see the page and I can click on things but I am unable to scroll the page down.
Is there an easy way to achieve what I am after, assuming I have explained it clearly enough?
