Why is this still an issue? As a Woocommerce plugin, this flies in the face of ecommerce UX.

When you click “Express Checkout” while on the checkout page, the addresses should not be required. It should be able to return the PayPal addresses and expedite the process.

When will this be fixed? If not, what’s the recommended plugin alternative?

    Hi @hnwp

By default, the plugin is not meant to be on the checkout page since that page is configured to work with other payment gateways that do require it. So when the Configure settings specific to regular checkout is enabled within the plugin’s settings, the plugin becomes less express and more regular. However, the express features on the product and cart pages still operate as expected, obtaining address information from the PayPal API.
