    hi,

I had done the update to 3.6.0 when the problem had started (not able to edit a page, just spins on the left side). I updated to 3.6.1 thinking that would fix but it didn’t. I had an old staging site so to troubleshoot whether this was a plugin issue conflict, I loaded that up, updated WordPress to current version, Elementor was set to 3.5.4 and checked that it loaded ok on the page when editing (it did).

Updated to 3.6.1 (no other plugins had been updated in a couple of months on the staging site so felt confident that if editor still didn’t work, it wasn’t due to a plugin). Tested the editing of the page and it hung/spun wouldn’t let me edit.

I rolled back to 3.5.6 (the version before the one that crashed the editor) and it was fine, let me edit. So it’s definitely something with versions 3.6.0 and 3.6.1 that’s causing this.

On the live site I was going to run the Regenerate CSS & Data but got nervous which prompted me to go to my staging site. So I updated in staging site again to 3.6.1 and ran that. I made sure once again that the site could not be edited on this version, which was true. Ran Regenerate and checked the page and it still spins. Also ran Sync Library for grins and that didn’t help either.

Safe mode does allow it to load on the page (worked in live site and staging). Any clue as to why this is still happening or other ways of troubleshooting?

    Thanks!

Sorry just an update here. I enabled a different theme and it worked, so it looks like it must be some theme conflict. Will take it up with them.
