please allow me to simplify the issue by orders as following,

    1. It starts from site health: the status came up with suggestion to reconnect Jetpack. however, it’s over three months that issue didn’t seem to have any improvement. screenshot is below.
    https://prnt.sc/111umqj

2.Each time when reconnecting to Jetpack, I’ll go over through the settings again and again; however, the third pay’s sharing to social by connecting to those account in advance, the result is always showing like this screenshot, https://prnt.sc/111udkm

    3. I think I have tried most possible methods to test it, such as always using Jetpack’s open graph, disconnect and deactivate, delete, reinstall; even just got some free time so that running the troubleshooting deactivated all and then restart to active one by one beginning from Jetpack. it’s really so weird that nothing got improved at all, including Use Publicize to publish your articles, Link your social media accounts, Share button, etc. still shows error with the message, “500 status code for “POST /sites/185309996/publicize-connections/ne”.

LAST, when trying to verify with google console, the next page usually shows account listing of Google’s Gmail service, yet it turns to show the same issue as before,https://prnt.sc/111vmks
    that link in Eng.=> https://prnt.sc/111vo6u

above all are in need of your professional help asap.

    THANKS

    Sean @ TWAsiaTimes
(if it’s convenient, please kindly send the follow-up email to [email protected])thanks, because that Gmail one seems to reach the limit and still no time for it yet.

    thanks again

    Hi @asiatimes

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
    https://songwhywhy.com/xmlrpc.php

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:

    XML-RPC?server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here:

    https://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns a 404?error?for this page, I would recommend that you check the following:

    1) Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click the “Reinstall WordPress” button.

    2) Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access to the?xmlrpc.php file.

    3) Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.

Once we are able to access your site’s?xmlrpc.php file, you should be able to connect Jetpack to?https://wordpress.com.

Let me know how it goes!

    hi, dearest and honrable Bruce,

sorry for late reply….really too busy to reply in time ; besides, gmail is reach the limited for few days…..really sorry and thx for ur kindly detailed reply

pls allow me to reply you’ve mentioned first

to be honest, i dont know what’s that php file……and i believe you could see that site kinda new lol, yet it just started to run and adjust little by little so that i cant think of any possibility to make that happened. Since other partner just only used it to publish post, i think most probably might be those security thing you mentioned and i might install and follow steps by plugin call site alert that it recommend to use ithemes security for solving an issue with special situation.

therefore, following by the first solution, is it possible to solve all the issue by reinstallng wp? or, do you need id and password for backen?also, that site is hosting with cloudfare, I’m fine and willing for sharing login info if you could kindly give me a hand since that issue made jatpack abnormal for almost three to four months, partners keep complaining with me that post cant share to FB= =

these two days, i’ll put emphasis on building sites so i might be able to be with you in time …..really sorry for late reply again

& thanks for the details. thanks!!

is it possible to solve all the issue by reinstallng wp?

The problem may not be linked to your installation of WordPress, but you could try to go to Dashboard > Updates and try reinstalling WordPress.

If that does not help, you will need to keep investigating to find what is blocking access to your site’s XML-RPC file.

    • It could be a plugin on your site. To figure that out, you could deactivate each plugin on your site, one at a time, and try to visit https://songwhywhy.com/xmlrpc.php if that plugin causes issues.
    • It could be your hosting provider blocking access to the file entirely. I would recommend that you contact them and ask them if they have some limitations for all /xmlrpc.php files on your hosting plan.

Let us know what you find.
