Still functioning after removal

    Hello,

    I tried out your plugin. But I decided to go with an alternate plugin.

    I uninstalled your plugin. It no longer shows up in the WordPress plugins list. But whenever I click on an image, your plugin takes over and displays the image.

    So once again, I removed your plugin. But it looks like some functionality was not removed because the plugin is still functioning.

    Do you any idea what could be causing this issue?

  • Hi Kevinsikora,

    Once WP Featherlight has been removed it won’t function on the site at all. Do you have any way of viewing the plugins folder on your WordPress site? If you see a directory labeled /wp-featherlight then you can delete it.

    That said, if our plugin isn’t showing when you click on the Plugins link in your WordPress menu, it won’t have any impact on the site at all. I’ll mark this as resolved for now but please follow up if you run into any issues.

    It’s odd. I have checked the plugins directory. Your plugin is no longer there. But when I click on images, I believe I am seeing your plugin “pop up” the image.

    Are you using the Magnific Popup plugin by chance? That looks like the one that’s being triggered. If you deactivate that one then the popups should be disabled entirely.
