I posted a while back here about getting fake orders.

I was told to either make a phone number required on the Paypal end or else change a setting within the plugin to not allow an address override.

I’m still getting fake orders, only now, it’s as if they know the promo code for 15% off that is only available to subscribers of my mailing list.

I was also just informed by a repeat customer that she was afraid Paypal changed the ship-to address, which is different from her billing address. Is this what checking the address override box in settings does? Not allow someone to put in a different shipping address from billing?

    Hi @allegrojane,

Can you please share your system report and PayPal log via support?

Hi, I’m not sure what a system report is or where to get it or what my PayPal log means.

What I see in my Woocommerce orders within WP are multiple 4-digit order numbers in place of names. Once I checked that box within the PayPal plugin’s settings, now these fake orders do contain real addresses. So somehow that fix didn’t work.

    Hi @allegrojane,

Can you please share the screen video record of the checkout process from the front end of your site? You may please include the plugin settings page and the checkout process and the resultant order in the screen record. You can share the screen record via this link.
