    Hi Frank,

    I’ve added your plugin and checked the checkboxes for CSS and Javascript and pressed the ‘save and empty cache’ option but when I run my site through Google Pagespeed I still get a fix alert for ‘Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content’ – isn’t this what your plugin fixes? Do I have to wait some time for it to activate?

    Kind regards,

    Rob

    AO optimizes JS & CSS, but an automagic google pagespeed insight fixer Autoptimize is not @mancat ??

    In the default config you’ll probably have jquery.js and your autoptimized CSS marked as render blocking, so;
    * you can try removing js/jquery/jquery.js from the list of JS optimization exclusions and check if your site still functions (jquery is excluded by default because a lot of themes & plugings expect it to be available early).
    * for CSS you can try “inline all CSS” (easy) or “inline & defer CSS” (better), there’s more info in the FAQ on this topic.

    have a nice weekend,
    frank
