    Only 1 star now from me. It “recommends” that I delete all my previous data with Headspace 2, and activate their stupid plugin.

    After activating, I find it messes up my site titles and description and no way to change that. All in One SEO does a much better job, minus all the snakey advice.

    AND it is still incompatible with the Google XML Sitemaps plugin that does the job MUCH better than this plugin. While the Yoast author still insists to delete the XML plugin.

    The author should just focus on SEO and stop meddling with sitemaps. Leave that to the other plugin to do the job.

    What a jerk!!! And no support at all. This plugin undid all my hard work writing the descriptions. I will NEVER forgive this Yoast guy for this misleading advice.

  • Just curious, why would you need the Google XML sitemaps with this plugin anyway? I thought the same thing when I initially upgraded to it, but was told that the XML sitemaps Yoast creates will serve the exact same purpose and functionality so there was no reason to have more than one and an unnecessary additional plugin.

    However, I recently started having an issue where my Google Analytics are not tracking properly out of absolutely nowhere

    Huh? So, the cause and solution is right in front of you, and you say it yourself.

    I said Yoast plugin is only good for SEO, but NOT for other stuff like Sitemaps. The other plugin by Arne Brachold is THE BEST XML sitemap plugin ever (he started it before Yoast even began) and it only does one thing -take care of your sitemaps. The author Arne Brachold does not try to be a know-it-all and make his plugin do other things out of its scope, unlike Yoast.

    Yoast should just allow users an easy way to shut off the Sitemap feature, and use the XML Sitemap plugin without his plugin NAGGING them about incompatibility every. single. time they activate any plugin. He should remove that “error” message. Period.

    That is what I have been saying all along!
