Still Indexed Despite Google Recrawling

    Hey there,

    Awesome plugin idea and I really appreciate you guys making it.

    Here’s my issue. I’ve NoIndexed A LOT of posts through your plugin (about 2 weeks ago) due to the helpful content update and it seems like Google is still indexing them (despite my search console showing that they’ve recrawled these posts).

    Any suggestions?

    Google should obey the robots directive, however sometimes it can take a few crawls. I would recommend double checking the page source to see if there are multiple robots directives.

    I would also check that there are no other pages in the website which are canonicalized to the pages you are wanting to noindex.

    Honestly not very tech saavy and your questions are a bit above my skills level lol. Is there some way I can do this? I can also hire someone for a small job

    I definitely understand. I would recommend hiring someone. I know site’s like upwork.com have vetted professionals who can assist.
