    Hi lmartins,

The plugin still includes a few features that are not found in core. Namely, advanced image compression, the Picturefill polyfill to enable responsive image support on older browsers, and some backward compatibility shims for people who were using early versions of the plugin that wrote srcset and sizes information directly to the markup saved in posts. If none of those issues are important to you then you can safely remove the plugin.

    Hi Joe,

Cool, im only supporting IE10 and later.
The image compression sounds interesting though. Will do some testing to see if I still need it.

    Thanks!

    Hi Joe,

Thank you very much for this superb plugin and your clear answer to the OP’s question.

    > Namely, advanced image compression…

I am using Kraken.io to compress images. If I also use RIGG, is it overkill or a conflict?
