• Dear Author We love the plugin, but why still no developments with this problem?

Having a headache trying to get my custom post types to work hence so they show up in the Post types considered.

There has been a great demand for custom post type support since the release of this plugin and still no developments? I see so many concerns about this problem in the support forum.

The plugin is listed as one of the best “Related Contents” plugin yet without this simple functionality. How?

I have read many postings regarding this problem and the author seems to be directing Users to the readme doc which suggests setting ‘yarpp_support’ => true in the register_post_type() function. It was also confirmed that using the register_post_type wont overwrite already created post types. So how can this be a feasible solution? I mean in this day and time, hardly anyone creates custom post types by manually coding functions.php there are CPT plugins that do this.

I have about 34+ custom post types… I’ve explicitly tried to overwrite their yarpp_support vaules. I know i’ve done all I need to, but the plugin still is not picking up my custom post type.

Is there no custom post type creator plugin that allows the yarpp_support attribute to be seen and configured? If I am understanding the author correctly if I have already defined custom post types and don’t seem to be able to get the custom post types ‘yarpp_support’ value overwritten, then I wont be able to use the custom post types with YARPP? Is this rather not a limitation to the plugin??

There has been suggestions from the author for Users to approach the CPT plugin developers to allow the configuration of yarpp_support. Really?? :/

I have been monitoring the developments of the plugin & have to say its a little disappointing that the author doesn’t see the urgent need for this feature.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
