(Still) not playing nicely with Events Manager plugin

    I thought that I had gotten it to work with the Events Manager plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/events-manager/) by Marcus Sykes, but it seems that wasn’t the case. I was actually only picking up attachments (featured images) associated with the event posts.

    I just threw a fresh WordPress installation up on a test URL and installed only Events Manager and Search Everything. Both are with default settings, though I enabled all of the Basic Configuration options on Search Everything. I am using the default Twenty Fourteen theme.

    I created a single event, and attempted to search for the event name using the default search box widget. No luck. Same for event location, city, etc.

    Any help is greatly appreciated. You can see the test site I created at https://rockinsd.com/.

    I found it. The problem was an option in the WP-Events plugin that hides events from the normal WordPress search.
