    Thank you for your message. I have noticed that the implementation has two failures concerning your bug report. The following is wrong:

    • The description of the ‘Direct Password Reset’ is wrong. Email sending is handled via the other option
    • The ‘Direct Password Reset’ will always send a password. The ‘Email notification’ option should be taken into account when performing a hard reset!

    The changes will be made in a new version of the plugin. Probably this will be release next week.

    So it sounds like maybe the only way to not show the password in the email is to manually tweak the code of the plugin?

    If you want to perform the action now, you can best comment out the code on line 594 till 599. This code is responsible for sending the email message when forcing the new password.
