    Is this plugin still supported or is it left on the plugin graveyard to disappear into the internet void of nothing?

    I think it is a fair question to ask since it has not been updated for over two years.

    Thanks..

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry for this inconvenience, but as I said we do not know of any plans or information related to updates to the plugin.

    so find new better alternatives guys because this plugin is left to rot in the plugin boneyeard forever by SendGrid.

    Hmm, this sad, same feedback from their GitHub repo https://github.com/sendgrid/wordpress/issues/87 ??

    Well according to what SendGrid support told me; 100 000 is just too few customers to be of any interest to them. I don’t understand their reasoning that 100 000 users is too few.. But on the flip-side it isn’t my job either to questioning it.

    But agreed; it was a nice plugin, sort of sad that they killed it.

    Did you guys manage to find a working alternative? The plugin still seems to be working fine, I’m just worried about security holes that wont be plugged.

    Well after three years it cannot be deemed as safe code and you should uninstall it.
    Unfortunately I haven’t found replacement directly.

    However a SMTP plugin as for example Easy SMTP could probably do some of the same and connect to Sendgrid smtp:

    I’m on Sendgrid Basic plan and this YaySMTP helps me out: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/smtp-sendgrid/

    Hi,

    If the need is SMTP or API integration to sendgrid you are welcome to check my plugin with 200,000 active installs:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-smtp/

    Features:
    * SMTP
    * API delivery (when SMTP is blocked, use HTTP. Sendgrid supported for both).
    * Email Logger
    * Fail notification – if the mail is failed to deliver, the plugin will notify you with four options to choose from: email, pushover, slack, chrome extension.
    * Fallback SMTP – if the delivery is failing with the default setup you can configure secondary SMTP details.

    The FluentSMTP plugin also works with the SendGrid API.
