Did you try to activate the default BuddyPress theme? If the search works with the default theme, have a look at question 2 in the new plugin FAQ page.

Please let me know if that doesn’t solve your problem.

actually i use the bp-columns, which isn’t too much edited anyway..

before/after_member_loop are present.

Hiya – @minto @andrea what was the resolution for this? I have valid search results in the first page, but using the pagination buttons loses the filter – clicking “2” or “->” takes me to an unfiltered list. I am also using bp_columns… I don’t have a members-loop.php in the theme!

Minto had a plugin incompatibility issue, see my Incompatible plugins page, but your case looks different.
