Still up to date? / I think not – use with caution

  • I think it is highly questionable whether this plugin is still up to date. Use with caution. There are these concerns:
    “The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has decided that explicit consent must be given for the setting of non-essential cookies, regardless of whether personal data is processed or not. Cookie banners that only explain that cookies are being set and only offer an “OK” are therefore not legal.”

    In my opinion, this cookie plug-in isn’t up to date.

  • Hi there, while I agree that this plugin could use an update. However this plugin does offer the possibility to block scripts and isn’t just a banner. You can see this is in the screenshots as well.
