Stock Central Issue
-
Hi,
I have a problem accessing stock central, each time I try to access it, it takes a very long time and then returns “500 – Internal Server Error” and sometimes “504 – Gateway Timeout”.
I tried to restore my site to a point before the plugin last update and wordpress last update, but still the same problem.
Please help to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,

Hi @moh2015
When this happens, usually it records an error on your PHP error log that can help us to understand why is this happening. So might you check it and paste here the exact error, please?
If you need help to enable your error log, please do read this article:Thanks a lot for your reply, I’ve installed Query Monitor plugin, but there is no database error related to ATUM, please check the screenshot below

Thanks,Hi @moh2015
You should check for the error when this error happens. not sure if the Query monitor plugin can help you out with this…
I’d recommend to enable and check the PHP error log file instead (as suggested previously).Best Regards,

Thank you for your reply, I’ve enabled the debug mode and try to access stock central and the error happened, then checked the debug.log file:

I can’t see any error related to ATUM.
Thanks,Hi @moh2015
Indeed. Those aren’t errors, just notices (so not really important) and are not coming from ATUM.
Very weird that happened without recording any critical error…Perhaps this could be caused by some kind of server restriction or limitation being applied by your hosting provider. Might you contact them and ask them about this issue, please?

Hi,
I’ve contacted my host, and they told me to uninstall and reinstall the plugin, this time I got this error “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/customer/www/pasmma.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-post.php on line 265”They told me that the memory limit is already set to the maximum of 768M and can’t be increased.
Kindly advise.
Thanks,Hi,
I’ve removed products that have a huge number of variations from my website, and now ATUM works fine.
I have another problem, search by SKU doesn’t work for me, I have a unique SKU for each variation, When I search by SKU, no results appear, please check screenshots:

Thanks,hi,
I’ve multisite wordpress installation and the problem of stock central was solved on the main site when I removed the products with huge variations and deleted the plugin and its data and reinstall it again.
I did the same thing on the other (Arabic) site , but when i delete the plugin, its data was not deleted from the database although I enabled that option in the general settings, and the problem of stock central still exist on that site, please advice how to delete the plugin data from the database to solve this problem.
Thanks,Hi @moh2015,
Good to know that you finally found a way to solve it.

This is very weird. I’ve just tried searching a variation by SKU on my local environment and worked fine for me.

The ATUM tables should be deleted if you had the corresponding option enabled in ATUM settings before uninstalling.
Anyway, if you want to remove the tables manually, just identify the blog number for that “Arabic” site and remove all the tables with the blog number prefix + atum_ prefix on their names.Best Regards,
Salva.Hi,
Thanks a lot for your reply, I managed to solve the problem of the Arabic site.
Regarding the problem of the SKU, I noticed that the search works only for the product name , I tried to search by SKU and entered a product name and got a result of the same product name, please check the below screenshot

Please advise.

Hi @moh2015
Not sure what could be causing this on your site as it’s working as expected for me.
In order to discard any possible conflict with a 3rd party plugin or theme, you can try to disable all your plugins except WooCommerce and ATUM and also try to activate the StoreFront theme (for example) and try if it works in that way.Best Regards,
Salva.
