Stock doesn’t reduce when an order is processing is this intended?

Hi,

I have made processing orders editable so that we can add items to stock after a customer has made a purchase. In the past adding an item to an already processing order reduced that items stock however it no longer does since the latest update. Even adding the items and clicking save or update order does not reduce stock. The only way is to move the order back to pending payment add the items, save the order then change it to processing?

Is this the intention?
