Hello,

Let me also make sure if you have tried the following:

• Set the out of stock threshold to 0
• Clear transients and cache under WooCommerce > Status > Tools

I did i now. still no effect. Right now product is sold out ( I was able to sell it over a phone). I am worried that this glitch can affect other products as well.

I cleared the above mentioned caches, cdn, browser, w3 total caches.

This product is our bestseller, we sold it out many times. No problems before.

Ok, let’s rule out any conflicts. Please temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If that resolves the issue, then re-enable features one-by-one until you find the one that’s causing the conflict. If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called?WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

Just FYI – no it was not resolved and turning off live store is a terrible solution for it. Really tired with Woocommerce right now.

Quick update. I have found the workaround but still think that it is a flaw/glitch in woocomerce. Posting anyway for people who can experience similar issue.

I had this product purchased by a customer who didn’t complete the payment. In the order details I saw that the stock was reduced.
In the product inventory after reduction I still had 1 available (which reflected how many actual products we had in warehouse)
When soemone wanted to buy it system was kind of “claiming the product” one more time not allowing to complete the order.

So really my question for Woocommerce is – when is the stock reduction happening?

I know that it is messy but maybe will help anyone experiencing similar issue.
Issue resolved for now.
