Stock manegement not working at all anymore

Had issues with stock being held indefinetly instead of releasing from cart after 15 minutes as specified in backend. But the item was removed from the shop for as long as it was in some other user’s cart. With the issue, that if one user put the whole stock of one item into his cart, no other user could purchase it anymore.

Now, since the update this morning, cart will not be emptied and items can be added to other carts no matter if it is already in someone else’s cart.

Anyone experiencing the same issue or similar issues with stock management?
