I’ve got 3 locations total. My process is to upload new products with the stock information as meta data (e.g. location 1: 3, location 2: 5, etc.), and then mass-edit the products to “turn on” the stock locations.

The problem I’m encountering today is that I can’t “turn on” my other locations; only the main location is showing for these products. I will update it with Quick Edit or go into the product itself in Edit, but the change isn’t sticking. On refresh, it still only shows stock for the main location. No matter how many times I try to save, the update won’t save.

I tried disabling my cache plugin, but that didn’t help. Nothing is showing in my error log. I’m all out of ideas.

No time waste, just export a couple of products in CSV format using default WooCommerce products export method. Then check the all the columns, you will find the stock location columns there, edit the values, save the file, upload again and all done. It is a learning curve related issue, so I am closing this support thread.

That’s how I do it. What I’m saying is that only my default location is saving. I’ve been using this plugin for a long time – probably 2 years – and I’m familiar with how it works.

Please note, when I go into the Products and manually save, it is not saving.

Must have been a hosting issue. It’s working normally now.

Hosting issue means the object cache, anyways, thank you for updating this thread.

It’s happening again. I’m able to edit everything else about a product except the stock locations.

The main location is automatically checked, but I cannot get the two other locations to save or show up under Stock Locations under Edit Product. I also tried Quick Edit with the same result.

I tried with an existing product, as well as adding a new product. Same result.

I’ve also just tried to update a product using a CSV following the same protocol I’ve always used, and it won’t update that way either.

There is some problem with your website, plugin is actually not behaving like this. You need to troubleshoot it.

Okay, well.. thanks, I guess. But this topic is definitely not resolved.

Support forums are not for exclusive website troubleshooting requests but for reporting visible plugin warnings, errors or bugs which can be fixed. If a plugin isn’t working as expected on one website but others are not reporting the same issue, it can be a new test case or any other plugin/theme/hosting related issue too. Anyways, you can report the issue once it’s narrowed down.

I wasn’t aware. I think I will just uninstall the plugin and continue using the meta data tables on the front end. This seems to be the easiest solution.
