Stock reduced twice

Upon a closer look, as seen in the screenshots, the system is reducing stock after payment is initiated/made:
Order note: Stripe payment intent created (Payment Intent ID: ***) -Stripe
or
Order note: IPN payment completed -Paypal

and then it reduces it again when the order status is changed from Pending payment to Processing.

Any ideas why? This seems to happen with all orders since November 24th this year.

This is quite strange that the stock level of your products are being reduced twice: first, after the payment has been processed, second, after the Order Status was changed from Pending Payment to Processing.

I replicated the scenario on my personal site, however, I was unable to reproduce the issue on my end. This is my Order Notes for your refefence:
