Stock Reduction Not Working

  • Hello,

    The website I am working on is https://www.stevehatchracing.com. I double checked variable settings each variable product is set to manage stock and stock is at 20. Stock reduction is required for ticket sales on our website. Woocommerce product settings are also set to enable stock management. Woocommerce system status is all green. All updates complete. Only PayPal is used for checkout. IPN request is being sent and received, yet item stock reduction does not occur. Customers have bought tickets and we have run a couple tests (not manually adding order). Please advice on how to make item stock reduction work, thank you!

    Can you take a screenshot of the order notes section of an order where stock reduction didn’t take place? Also, are you seeing that for all products or just bookable ones (with the bookable product type being powered by a separate plugin)?

    Hi Riaan!

    Thanks so much for the reply. Products are set up as variable products and “virtual.” We don’t have a separate plugin for booking. We just set the product stock to 20 and act as though product purchase is a booking event/ticket purchase. All other products are made when ordered so they do not have stock.

    Cool, so it’s not a case of stock deductions failing because of order statii.

    Can you paste the system status report as found under **WooCommerce > System Status** here? Also, are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Sixteen theme?
