stock status had disappeared

    Hello,

    On my variable product pages, I don’t have “stock status” or “in stock” (“Etat du stock” on my French version) displayed in main tab “inventory”.

    I used to change stock status here for all my variations in one click, but it doesn’t show anymore. Now I have to choose “gérer le stock” (I guess manage stock) and set quantities.

    Also, when I am on the product list page, and click on “rapid modification” the button “in stock” cannot be edited, it is grey. I used to multiple set variable products out of stock from here to.

    Was there some change for variable product inventory ? I don’t have time to manage this for each variable, I just want to do as before : get globally a variable product out of stock when I don’t have it anymore. Now the only solution I have is to change my variable products to simple products and then get them out of stock in bulk. It’s not a good solution though.

    It works again on the products list page, no idea why, but it still doesn’t work on the variable product page.

    What you’re describing is expected behaviour; in variable products, there isn’t a stock status displayed. However, you don’t need to modify the stock of each variation individually. You can utilize the bulk editor to change the stock status of all variations at once.
